It’s All Over began as a trio in 1985. The band’s only concern was to create and perform original music. At that time the group consisted of: singer, Jeff Kannon; keyboardist, Chris Rochell; bassist, Warren Hindrichs and a drum computer. The direction of the band was an experimental electronic sound.

In 1986, It’s All Over expanded its instrumentation by adding guitarist John Guthrie and drummer Dave J. Gyatt. As a quintet, the band began to explore other avenues of music such as southern rock & roll, rhythm and blues, alternative-progressive rock and avante garde shows. It’s All Over remained open to experimentation and exploration of new art and music.
